(i brew it together in same cup with a bit of honey in it.) i also have a script for ambein cr which i only take if i am laying there wide awake over an hour in bed and have no sleepy feelings at all! or i over did it and very sore and tylenol doesn't help. i feel it helps to get you back into your natural cycle. but since i am not taking anbein cr as much i found Valerian Root Exract helps me a lot. you can get it at Vitamin World. its a more natural sleep aid and i don't have to take it all the time since i try to go the tea route and sit and do something that is very relaxing a few hours before bedtime. i crochet alot and that will make me sleepy also. reading makes me very sleepy and i also found i get naturally tired around 10:30 at night. so i try to go to bed around 10 and when i get sleepy i am already in bed. i also keep a fan blowing on me which i like but i think it helps in the falling asleep thing. the noise level helps drown out other noise that isn't as nice. a dark dark room also helps. clear you mind as much as you can from other things. if you have to turn the phone off. i feel alot of us need to slow down and relax a bit more. we tend to say yes to many things and are plate gets so full and we have to learn we are only one person and we can't say yes to everything. well, anyway, try the tea and valerian root first and go from there. everybody is different so what works for me might not work for you. i also realize i am dreaming again and that is exciting for me since i like my dreams. they remind me of going to the movies! :) but than again i am a little nuts so some people might find dreams are not that fun. i hope this helps you a bit. it is not fun not to be able to sleep. i do think the key in sleeping is listening to what your body clock is saying. naps are ok but naps should only be taken no more than an hour in the early part of the afternoon. naps can are supposed to be a refreshing thing not a sleep thing. learning to let some things go in your mind is even better. you are only one person and learning to take care of yourself is important. i do also try to exercise and that helps. hope this all helps. love and prayers to you and jasonmomnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20581097.post-14201661671351611882006-12-18T19:52:00.000-05:002006-12-18T19:52:00.000-05:00santa claus is watching jason!! :) :) i forgot t...santa claus is watching jason!! :) :) i forgot to tell you one more thing darkmind you can try alone or with the tea and valerian root or just tea or just valerian, it is lavender oil or spray. i spray lavender oil or spray on a hankie and put it in my pillow case with my favorite pillow. you can use a lavender candle to light in your room to get the scent in your bedroom before you go to bed. (follow the directions on your candle. :) ) also, i bought myself some of the lavender vanilla Downy softener and i use it on my bed sheets and blankets and pj's. also you can treat your self to a massage once a week if you can afford it or you can find a school that teaches massage therapy and they are really usually a lot cheaper than going to a place that does it for their living. well, a little more reading to make you sleepy. :) i am praying you find some rest darkmind. please take care and please at least try some of this stuff and maybe i will hear you snoring soon! :) love and prayers thanks jason for the use of your blog!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20581097.post-9681526511521291262006-12-18T18:38:00.000-05:002006-12-18T18:38:00.000-05:00Darkmind: You mean, her long-ass comment didn't pu...Darkmind: You mean, her long-ass comment didn't put you to sleep already? :DJason Hugheshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15643595412184843553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-20581097.post-21311469873937089542006-12-18T16:04:00.000-05:002006-12-18T16:04:00.000-05:00Thanks for the tip, mom.
